Exploring new directions in interactive product design is central to the work I do. I am driven by the belief that design is more than problem solving. It is about inviting and eliciting new experiences and behaviours, based on a vision of progress, making use of new technological possibilities. My PhD research at Industrial
Design at TU/e treats the question how to design products that elicit aesthetic interactions that correspond to people’s values. Products become means to put our values into practice.
I currently work at Industrial
Design in Eindhoven as assistant professor in the Designing Quality in Interaction group.
