I am an Assistant Professor in the User Centered Engineering research group in the Department of Industrial Design at the Technical University in Eindhoven.

My long-term professional goal is to bring close together the ideas from the broad fields of human-computer interaction, software engineering and intelligent systems. My emphasis is on design: I build experimental interfaces and systems that explore new forms of interaction in the mediated world.

My general professional and scientific interests include: design of interactive systems, end-user development and rapid prototyping, creativity support tools, software engineering, service-oriented computing, multimodal interaction, universal accessibility, semantic web, biomedical engineering.

I am the author of Sketchify, a platform for sketching of interactive computing systems.
